Claude Schwab
Founder

With over ten years of experience in the hedge fund services sector, Claude has deep knowledge of the industry. Prior to founding HFObserver, Claude founded Schwab Enterprise, LLC, a hedge fund service provider focused on search, capital introduction, and media publications. The firm was subsequently acquired by Heidrick & Struggles (NASDQ: HSII) in 2008. At Heidrick, Claude was a Partner who ran the firm’s North America Hedge Fund Practice.

Prior to search, Claude worked in new media venture capital and in new media strategy consulting.

Claude received an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA from Columbia University, and a BA with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. He resides where he was raised, in NYC.

Wally Chang
Chief Technology Officer

With over a dozen years experience in web development and a passion for the visual web, Wally brings his expertise in development and interaction design/user experience and his knowledge of applicant tracking, expert networks and social media to HFObserver. Wally’s previous experiences include his time at iCIMS, Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), and LiveIntent. Wally graduated from Boston University with degrees in Computer Science and Visual Arts.

Mark Rosa
Director of Research & Client Relations

Prior to running Research and Client Relations for HFObserver, Mark worked in finance for eight years, in both buy-side and sell-side roles at Oppenheimer & Co., Stephens Inc., and Thompson Davis Asset Management. In addition, Mark holds a real estate license with Citi Habitats and spent time working in both residential and commercial sales.

Mark graduated from the University of Richmond, with a degree in Business Administration – Finance, and also focused on French and Art. He currently resides in Greenwich Village.

Antonio Regalado
Board of Advisors

Antonio is a Member of our Board of Advisors and is focused on shaping HFObserver’s strategy around online business models, content, and design. Antonio s a prize-winning science and technology journalist who is currently Business Editor at Technology Review, the magazine and news website of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Antonio has contributed to publications including Science Magazine and Scientific American and from 2000-2009 was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal where he covered science and served as a foreign correspondent in Brazil.

Antonio received his MA, Science & Medical Journalism, from New York University and his BS in Physics from Yale University. Antonio is a NYC native.
